The Tokyo Disney Ticket Timeline You Need to Know

Tokyo Disneyland tickets go on sale 60 days before your visit date, not months out the way some parks allow. Waiting until you're deep into planning the rest of your Japan trip can mean the date you want isn't available anymore.

Two ticket types matter here: a park-hopper that lets you move between Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea in one day, and a single-park passport that locks you into one park. Knowing which one your family actually wants, not which one sounds more flexible, is worth settling before the ticket window opens.

Vacation packages work on a different clock entirely. These bundle hotel, park tickets, dining, and Premier Access, and they're released 5 to 6 months ahead of travel. They also sell out quickly once they go live. If a package is part of your plan, that release date needs to be on your calendar well before the 60-day ticket window even opens.
