Plan the family trip everyone will want to take again
Tell me what your family is hoping for. I’ll tell you honestly what your time and budget can support, then plan a trip that works for grandparents, parents and grandchildren alike.
Planning for every generation takes more than research
Planning a trip for grandparents, parents and grandchildren means balancing different energy levels, mobility needs, interests and budgets. There’s no shortage of information online. The hard part is knowing which options fit your family. It’s easy to build a plan that looks great on paper and leaves everyone worn out by day three.
I start by listening for what your family wants from the trip, along with your real limits on time and budget and how much each person can comfortably do. If part of the original idea won’t give you what you’re hoping for, I’ll tell you and suggest something that will. Then I design the itinerary, arrange flights, lodging, tours and transfers with suppliers I trust, and build in backup plans. If something goes sideways while you’re traveling, I’ll guide you to the right support.
Who you’ll be working with
I’m Colleen Pacem, a certified travel professional in Bellevue. I plan trips to Japan, Disney parks, Europe and across the US, often for couples and for families traveling together. Many of my clients come back for their next trip and send their families my way.
One client came to me wanting to see two countries in one week on her first trip to Europe. We narrowed it to the places that mattered most to her. She came home ready to plan her next trip.
